Yuki Now Knows This is Her Forever Home

I got up this morning and Nice Mister took us to a place called the back yard. I was shocked and almost had a heart attack. I saw this BIG and I mean REALLY BIG bowl of water and I said, "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, this had better not be where I get a bath!!!!!!!" Did I tell you, I hate baths?

Nice Mister told me that when it gets warmer, we will go swimming. What's that? But if it has to do with this bowl of water, FORGET IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NO WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! Water is for drinking and nothing else. I am gonna go hide when they come looking for me.

They took me for a car ride. Did I tell you I hate car rides? Mizu likes them but then hey what does he know? Cars scare me I don't know why. Nice Mister and Nice Lady pet me and talk to me while we go somewhere. Then we go home and I so excited we are home but scared to jump out. Sometimes Nice Mister carries me, but says sometimes, "Boy Yuki, we gotta a cutback on the food." No way, he better not or I will go on strike!!!!! Whatever a strike is. I hope car rides don't happen very often. I don't like them, did I tell you that?

When I woke up today, I realized like Mizu that this is our forever home. I was sooooo happy. I lived someplace before, but I went back to my foster mom. I don't know why they gave me back but I thought I was unlovable. But since I came here I only get love and hugs. I guess I know what my foster mom said when she said have a good life. I know they love me. Everyone who comes here loves me.

The only sad thing I can think of was that I never met my mom. When she was giving birth to all of us, she was very sick, but she did not die. However, she could not take care of us as she was real sick so they took us all away and fed us by hand by my foster mom. I think of her sometimes and hope she is ok. I look out the window and hear a dog bark and wonder if that is her coming for a visit. I want to tell her that me and Mizu are OK and this house loves us. She would be proud of how grown up we have gotten and how good we play and how good we have it at our forever home.

I think Nice Mister knows what I am thinking since he comes over and pets me and hugs and says, "Your life here will be good. On that you have my promise. No one will ever hurt or abuse you ever. I will always be here to protect you."

I know my forever home is good place to be. They will take care of us forever.

I can sleep now knowing it is ok and no one will ever send me back.

Mizu Discovers the Back Yard

Hi World!

I am so happy to be in my new home and know I do not ever have to find another place to live. This is way cool.

I barely remember being at a place that was supposed to be my forever home, but the people gave me back. They said I was too timid. I don't know what that means but Nice Mister and Nice Lady seem not to worry about timid since they pet me and love me and I love them back.

I love giving kisses and Nice Mister does not seem to mind but Nice Lady said, "Yuk, Mizu no kissing, I know where that tongue has been licking.." I really don't think she all that mad at me since she scratches and pets me and smiles.

I also like to jump on people, I guess cause I am so excited. They are trying to break me of that habit but I get so excited when someone visits me I just forget. I love sitting on Nice Mister's lap, but he said to me, "Dude, you have bad habit of always laying right on my nerves or muscles..." I guess I need to be more careful.


Today, Nice Mister showed me my new play area. It's called the back yard. When he first let me in there, me and sis did all kinds of zoomies and donuts. We took our toys and chased each other.. It was way cool until sis and me discovered that we was running around the largest water bowl I ever saw. I looked over the side and I could see myself. Boy, I knew I was handsome but in looking at me for the first time, words don't do justice to this face. But back to this water bowl, it is HUGE. It would take at least 100 of me and sis to go across this thing. I am kind of scared of it. I don't want to drink out of since I might fall in and drown.

I wanted to see how deep it was so I opened my mouth in awe and dropped my bone over the side. It went so deep that Nice Mister got this long stick and scooped it out. They was talking about bath time this weekend. I hope this is not where I get a bath. It is way too big and a water bowl is for drinking not bathing. Imagine getting a bath in a bowl I drink out of.. how disgusting.. Yuk. However, Nice Mister now says when it warms up, he will teach us how to swim in this water bowl he calls a pool. I don't know what swim is but for me water is to drink and the occasional bath not to play in. I guess I am a dry land kind of guy.

I will give this water bowl a really wide wide berth. I am not like sis, I have resigned myself to a bath since Nice Mister just picks me up and I have no choice. Besides, he rubs me when he uses soap on me for it is like a full body belly rub. I love belly rubs. After I am all dried off, he pets me and gives me treats. I get 6 or more. Boy do I like treats. Sometimes, I get the liver treat which is really yummy. I do donuts for those. Then after we get done, me and sis do zoomies and head and body rubs in our bed.

I think Nice Mister and Nice Lady really love me and sis. They take us out for walks. I also found about car rides. Those are really good and fun. I love the new smells, the new places and the sun hitting me and keeping me warm. They give us food and treats.

Wow it has been a wild and fun day. Time for me get some sleep... Night World..
